We’re wrapping up another great year of Broncos & Burgers at Newman’s Pour and Pies!

Come hang out with us Saturday, September 19th at 1 PM for one last get-together before we call it a year. Bring your Bronco, grab some food, check out some rigs and spend the afternoon with fellow Bronco people.

ALL generations of Broncos are welcome — Early Broncos, Full-Size Broncos, Bronco IIs, and the new 6Gs. Stock, modified, daily driver, trail rig… bring it!

Before summer is over, let’s get together for an old fashion Ice Cream Social. Jerry & Janis are inviting club members to their backyard for some homemade ice cream on Saturday, August 29 at 3:00 pm. They will have several flavors and all the toppings. But the emphasis will be on the “Social” part. A sweet and delicious excuse to get together.

Place: 3321 E 18th Avenue, Spokane. Come around the left side yard into the backyard.

Parking: This is in a residential neighborhood, but there should be plenty of curb parking - especially to the west of their house.

Seating: They plan on having enough patio & garden seating, but you are welcome to bring your favorite camp chair.

Beverages: They will have chilled bottled water. Otherwise, feel free to BYOB.

10:00am: Meetup at Horizon Middle School. 3915 S Pines Rd, Spokane Valley, WA 99206

10:15-10:20 Departure

Enjoy a picturesque cruise through the back country and rolling his of the Palouse.

Cruise will take about an hour and fifteen minutes. Plus or minus.

Plan to arrive at Spangle Saloon between 1130-1145 for 1200 luncheon.

For those not interested in the cruise portion, please still join us at noon for lunch and camaraderie.

Once there enjoy grass fed beef and/or amazing broasted chicken.

Attendees can depart on their own or enjoy the second half of the cruise making our way back to the Latah Creek Grocery store avoiding the highways, where we can break away and enjoy the rest of our afternoon/evening.

Total cruise mileage for before and after lunch is between 70-80 miles. Please plan your gas tanks appropriately, as there is gas at the beginning and at the end, but none in between.

Please join us for a morning trail ride, on Saturday July 25th, before the Broncos and Burgers event. This is an easy trail, that all Broncos can do.

We will meet at the Radar dome ORV trailhead at 9:30am and start a guided ride though the park starting at 10:00am, looping back to the trailhead parking area.

If you would like to bring your trailered Bronco to a Broncos and Burgers event, this is the perfect one to do so. The lodge is just a few miles up the road from the ORV parking lot. If you are parking a trailer, you will need a Washington Discover Pass. If you are just driving the trail, it is not required.

The ride should be about 1 1/2 hours.

After the trail ride, meet at the Beaver Lodge in Colville Wa. at 12:00 pm. They have a menu for all ages, with a view overlooking the Lake.

Please let John Martin know if you’re coming, and the number of people you are bringing, so he can let the lodge know.

It’s time for our annual year-end meeting & holiday dinner!

Date: Saturday, December 6, 2025

Location: Darcy’s Restaurant and Spirits

Time: 4:00pm (arrival beginning at 3:30pm)

Club Member Price: $17 per person (one meal with paid individual membership, two meals with paid family membership)

Non-Member Price: $34

The event will kick off with a brief club meeting, which includes a drawing to select recipients of the club's year-end donations and officer elections.

Be sure to pre-pay for your meal(s) by November 28th - there will be NO same day payments accepted. This price includes tax and tip, but no alcoholic beverages.

What to expect:

• 3:30pm Meet & Greet

• 4:00pm Meeting (drawing for year-end donations, officer/board of directors voting)

• 5:00pm Dinner

• 6:00pm Gift Exchange

If you would like to participate in the White Elephant style gift exchange, please bring one wrapped gift valued at around $25 dollars for each person who would like to participate.

Toy Drive, Broncos, Coffee and Cruise V3.0

Cutting Edge Customs puts on an annual Toys for Tots drive. Club member Brad Jordan wanted to help out, and thus this event was created!

This is the third year Brad will be doing a cruise and toy drive to assist Cutting Edge. They have their own event page for the toy drive and they give away many many cool off-roading raffle prizes to anyone who donates. Head on over to their event page to find out more details on the raffle prizes and details.

This year we are doing things a bit different…

We will meet at McDonald's for breakfast (there is a Starbucks in the parking lot too) to gather before we cruise over to the Cutting Edge Customs and donate the toys BEFORE we head out on our cruise.

Donating Money Instead of Toys:

If you cannot make the event or do not have time to purchase toys, you may donate money:

• Please donate via the PayPal link below before Friday the 14th at 8pm.

• Brad will go toy shopping at the Post Falls Walmart Friday night and donate all toys in the name of the club.

• No raffle tickets will be retained for winning prizes for the club or for Brad.

The Deets

• Please bring as many toys as you want. The more the better! The Toys for Tots organization needs all different types of toys for all different ages of children. We will be dropping toys off as a group. They have some amazing raffle prizes and a few of us won last year and year before.

• Due to the ever present chance of snow, the cruise route will be announced that morning. The goal will be to get the tires a little dirty, but it will 100% be accessible to all Broncos.

• If you can't make it on November 15, 2025 please either donate some cash for gifts to be purchased or drop off your purchased toys to club member Kevin Ginter at Sculley's Automotive (420 N Pines Rd, Spokane Valley, WA).

July’s Broncos & Burgers will start with a short cruise ending at club members Tyson & Rachel’s home. They will provide sliders. Please bring a side dish to share, and whatever you’d like to drink.

Details:

• 11:00am: Head out for 45-min cruise to the Baker house.

• If you won't be joining for the cruise, please arrive at the house after 12:00pm. We'll get the food going and should be eating about 12:30pm.

• Please bring a dish or side to share, and whatever you'd like to drink. The Baker’s will provide slider sandwiches.

• If there's time and interest afterward, we can cruise up to Loon Lake and get ice cream!

“We will meet at the Maverick in PostFalls near the Walmart @Stateline. Pull out at 830.

Things you need to know.

• 35’s

• Rear Locker is mandatory

• Front Locker is helpful

• Have the proper equipment to air down and up your tires.

• This is a fairly moderate trail so if you want to get experience off-roading this is a good option.

“The 4th of July not only is our nation's birthday but it is also my birthday. To celebrate I am hosting a Bronco cruise in a parade.

• Parade

• American Flags

• Kids wanting candy

• Broncos

The Johnson parade is the most All American parade I have ever attended and been a part of. It is in a small community just south of Pullman Washington. The parade is not organized by anyone really it just happens, every year like clockwork on the 4th of July.

What to bring:

• Candy or fun things to throw out to all the kids

• American flag you can never have too many

What to expect:

• The most Americana thing you may have ever been involved with.

• This parade is not advertised, no promotions at all. You may even have a hard time Googling anything about this parade.

• But let me tell you it is a big deal! People line up both sides of the street an there are tons of families all dressed in red, white and blue.

• So, Make sure you ration your treats because there are kids on both sides of the road as you down and back.

Can I trailer my Bronco? Yes there is tons of parking on the side roads, they are just dirt roads.

Schedule:

• 9am meet at my friends house to put on your flags, remove doors, remove roof or anything else you would like to do. 46.638861, -117.138139

• 9:30am go as a group to the start location of the parade. We all need to be ready at this time so we can be together in the parade. 46.633583, -117.138167

• 11am gather back at start to clean up and get Broncos ready for road use.

OPTIONAL ICE CREAM CRUISE: I will be leaving for western Washington at noon but I will create a cruise route to Elk River and the hands down best Huckleberry Ice Cream and shakes I have ever had. I will post that in the discussion section for this event.”

“In keeping the original idea of helping a local business, June's Broncos and Burgers will be held on June 28th at Dickey's Barbecue Pit on Sprague in Spokane Valley. This business is under new ownership and has a story on helping a veteran.

After lunch those who are interested are invited over to Shari and Larry's house for dessert. We should have the pool open for kids to swim. PM me with any questions. Please remember to update on this event if going.”

In town for the Inland NW Bronco Stampede? Are you an over-lander or want to see what the best part of over-landing is like?

Kick your feet up relax and have some dinner while we watch the sunset. Bring your own kitchen, steaks, PB&J, dehydrated meal or even some McDonald's!

The trip out to the location of dinner is not for the faint of heart, it is easy but very, very narrow on river rocks with a sharp slope down to the river. It is not bad, but you must be diligent in tire placement and not afraid.

From club member Brad: “Once you make it out to the location, set up your chair, camera, kitchen and then relax. It has been a very busy weekend and this is something I really love to do while on adventures.”

If you are a rock hound, there are spots along the narrow road in that you can search for Columbia River Agates.

A fast paced trip through the Arizona Strip to explore an abandoned mine and watch the sunset on the north rim of the Grand Canyon.

Before you sign up for this run you need to answer YES to ALL of the following questions:

1. Will you be driving a Bronco?

2. Would you like to park on the rim of the Grand Canyon in your Bronco?

3. Can you be bathroom self-sufficient all day on the trails?

4. Are you able to drive quickly over washboard roads? 25-33 MPH?

5. Can you quickly and safely traverse trails with a difficulty rating of 5 or higher?

6. Are you able to spend all day and 220 miles off grid in the desert/rock/sandy trails?

7. And now the easiest one, can you feed yourself out of your Bronco for the whole day without a restaurant or store.

If you passed that test here are some details about the day:

• Starting early morning, we will meet just off of HWY 7 outside of St. George / Hurricane Utah. We will be driving around 78 miles on gravel and sand road/trails before hitting Parashant Canyon and the Copper Mountain Mine - Andrus Canyon trail.​

• This trial will be at a slower pace, but we will need to keep moving. The clock, weather and trail conditions will determine if we make it to the mine before heading to the overlook.

• The road to the trailhead/overlook does not look like anything we will need four wheel drive for. At the overlook we will be spending a fair amount of time, hopefully. I would love enough time to get individual pictures at the rim and a few group pictures as well as cook my dinner, all while watching the sunset.

• The way out looks to be just a long dirt road that should be very easy to traverse in the dark.
