A Lifelong Connection to Broncos
Edward’s Bronco journey began while stationed in Alaska, when he purchased his 1972 Bronco in South Carolina. Since then, he has added a 1979 Bronco to his collection.
Edward’s Broncos: 1972 & 1979
Edward’s 1972 Bronco has seen several transformations. Originally painted yellow, it was later painted olive drab green in Sumter, SC. Edward then had it painted burgundy and black, inspired by the KbarS catalog.
His 1979 Bronco was a Facebook find that was “too yellow, so I faded a freewheeling style strip on it.”
Customizations and Modifications
Edward’s upgrades include:
Small lift on the ’72
Rebuilt 302 with 4-barrel carburetor
Bronco Adventures
Favorite Adventure
One of Edward’s most memorable Bronco adventures was driving from South Carolina to Ohio and then on to Spokane in February 1994… in the middle of a blizzard. The temperatures were so cold that beers froze in the rig and burst open!
Future Plans
Edward’s plans are simple —> ”just enjoy them.”
The Club’s Impact
During the time Edward has been with the club, he has already appreciated the chance to meet new people through the INWBC.
Beyond Broncos
Outside of working on and driving his Broncos, Edward spends his free time working on and painting cars, BBQing and teaching.
Dream Adventure
Edward would love to take his Bronco on a “nice mountain cruise.”

Edward is a completely self-taught mechanic, body and paint specialist, and admits he swears way too much!
